CIMAM is grateful to its Patrons and Supporters!
As we near the end of 2023, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all the individuals and institutions supporting CIMAM. Your steadfast backing has allowed us to maintain robust programs responding to the diverse needs of our membership.
In 2023, CIMAM hosted an exceptional Annual Conference in Buenos Aires, and we deeply appreciate the outstanding team at the Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires and the Argentinian art community for their hospitality. Through our Travel Grants funders, we welcomed 56 awarded professionals, engaging in discussions on museums' vital social and educational roles, deeply rooted in Latin American museum practices. The third edition of the Outstanding Museum Practices Award recognized the remarkable project "CHAGRES: the Nomadic Residency Programme" from the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Panamá. Additionally, we held five Rapid Response Webinars covering topics from sustainability to technology and health. Our Museum Watch program diligently identified situations impacting professionals and institutions in modern and contemporary art, while the Sustainability in Museum Practices program updated its Toolkit to include social and governance aspects.
All these achievements occurred in a year, witnessing a significant increase in our member community. We sincerely thank CIMAM Patrons and Supporters for their continuous backing, ensuring CIMAM remains a relevant and dedicated professional community. We are grateful to the global community of almost 700 professionals affiliated with CIMAM, and we look forward to collaborating with you in 2024.
Thank you for being part of this journey and contributing to CIMAM's success and growth. Without your generous support, all this would not be possible.
And, to its Program Supporters!
