Three historical facts that will mark the debates of TheAttentiveMuseum
Agustín Pérez Rubio, Chair of CIMAM's 54th Annual Conference Contents Committe - to be held from November 11 to 13 at Es Baluard Museu d'Art Contemporari de Palma (Balearic Islands, Spain) - explains the three historical facts on which the debates that will nourish the three days of #TheAttentiveMuseum will be built.
The first fact reflects on the pandemic and the feeling of vulnerability suffered by human beings and institutions. The second one explores activist movements that promoted social justice in terms of race and gender, spurred by the death of George Floyd and the #metoo movement. Finally, the third leverages the location of CIMAM's Annual Conference to assess, from a central point between Europe and Africa, the war and humanitarian conflicts that surround us, such as Russia's war against Ukraine and the migration crisis from Africa to Europe.
