Post Tour program


7–9 November 2021

  • Sunday 7th November (evening) Transfer to Warsaw.
  • Monday 8th. Warsaw. Visits to Zachęta, and other galleries (TBC)
  • Tuesday 9th. Warsaw. Visits to the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw MSN, and visit other galleries (TBC). After 15:30 - departure to the airport

A post-conference tour has been organized to Warsaw by Zachęta and the National Gallery of Art. The two-day optional program will include visits to the Centre for Contemporary Art CSW, POLIN and Spectra Art Space.

Day 3: Sunday 7th November (evening)

  • Transfer from Gdansk to Warsaw by bus.
  • The bus will depart from European Solidarity Centre at 20:30 hrs. to Puro Hotel (4 hours and 30 minutes trip).
  • Check-in at Puro Hotel Warsaw.

Day 4: Monday 8th November

8:30/9:00 – breakfast at the hotel + transfer to Zachęta

10:00 – Zachęta (Hoege Loene exhibition)

12:00 – early lunch at Zachęta

13:30 – one of three to choose from: Centre for Contemporary Art CSW (Political Art exhibition) / Museum of Warsaw (exhibition of Sayam Ghosh's works in cooperation with Sputnik Photos) / private galleries

16:00 – POLIN (Wilhelm Sasnal exhibition: “Such a Landscape” + permanent exhibition)

19:00 – Starak Family Foundation | Spectra Art Space - private collection of Anna and Jerzy Starak Guided tour and dinner

Day 5: Tuesday 9th November

8:30/ 9:45 – breakfast at the hotel + transfer to the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw

10:00 – Museum of Modern Art, Warsaw

12:30 – One of four to choose from: Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art (exhibitions: Political Art, Everyday Forms of Resistance) / Museum of Warsaw (exhibition Sayam Ghosh. When a Forest Returns + core exhibition) / private galleries / from the series Warsaw Historical Studios: Wanda Czełkowska’s Studio

  • Lunch
  • Taxi transfers to the airport/train station

An additional programme of visits to private galleries will be announced in autumn.

Transportation to galleries will take place by coach.

— Full payment required at time of booking
— Fully refundable prior October 1st, 2021
— 30% refundable between October 1st and 15th, 2021
— Non-refundable after October 15th, 2021
— Deadline to register is October 7th

CIMAM reserves the right to cancel the on-site events of the Annual Conference if the international situation due to COVID-19 worsens, and mobility restrictions make it impossible to hold the event in person. In this case, the CIMAM Annual Conference would be scheduled entirely virtually, and the organization will reimburse the amount paid by participants except for the fee to attend the 3 days online.

If in previous days to the conference, delegates are diagnosed as covid positive, CIMAM will reimburse* the full amount of their CIMAM Annual Conference ticket except for the online congress fee. Health certificate as proof of medical condition, will be required.

In addition to this, if the delegates are forced to cancel their ticket due to last minute travel restrictions in country origin or destination (entry to Poland), CIMAM will reimburse* the full amount of their CIMAM Annual Conference ticket except for the online congress fee.
