Biography

I am a museum professional and cultural practitioner with more than two decades of experience working at the intersection of exhibition-making, public engagement, and creative production. Since 2013, I have served as the Public Engagement and Production Manager at the Palestinian Museum, where I have contributed to shaping the institution’s curatorial delivery, audience engagement strategies, and production frameworks.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Birzeit University and an Executive MBA, which I completed two years ago through a joint programme between the Arab American University and the University of Pennsylvania. This academic background has strengthened my ability to bridge strategic management and cultural production, enabling me to lead complex projects that require both conceptual vision and operational excellence.

In my current role, I oversee the production of exhibitions, public programmes, and publications, while leading media, branding, and audience development strategies. I have contributed to several major exhibitions, including Jerusalem Lives (2017), Labour of Love (2018), Intimate Terrains (2019), and A People by the Sea (2021), each of which explores Palestinian narratives through multidisciplinary approaches.

More recently, I have focused on developing alternative exhibition formats, most notably Gaza Remains the Story (2024), a ready-to-download, globally accessible exhibition that has been presented in more than 250 locations worldwide and received the CIMAM Award in 2025. This project reflects my commitment to expanding access to cultural production and reimagining the boundaries of museum practice.

I am currently contributing to the development of the Palestinian Museum’s forthcoming permanent exhibition, exploring modular and research-driven approaches to storytelling. My practice is grounded in collaboration, adaptability, and the creation of meaningful public experiences that respond thoughtfully to complex and evolving contexts.
