International Cultural Partnerships Bring Ten Museum Professionals to the CIMAM 2026 Annual Conference in Harare

Through the support of five international cultural partners, ten museum professionals will participate in the CIMAM 2026 Annual Conference in Zimbabwe, contributing diverse perspectives and strengthening international exchange across the museum sector.

The 58th CIMAM Annual Conference, taking place from 20 to 22 November 2026 in Harare, Zimbabwe, will welcome ten museum professionals whose participation has been made possible through the support of CIMAM's International Cultural Exchange Partners.

This initiative reflects a shared commitment to broadening access to international professional dialogue and strengthening connections between museum professionals working across different geographical, cultural and institutional contexts.

CIMAM gratefully acknowledges the support of British Council Zimbabwe; British Council Kenya; Phileas – The Austrian Office for Contemporary Art, the Austrian Federal Ministry of Housing, Arts, Culture, Media and Sport; and the UNESCO Regional Office for Southern Africa.
