A warm welcome to CIMAM to Hendrik Folkerts!
"The need for an organization such as CIMAM is more important than ever, in this global moment of change and reckoning for museums. We need the support structure, community, and sounding board that CIMAM offers to care for and also transform the institutions we work for. Museums are, after all, made up of the people that shape these spaces and places".
"My practice is focused on the international field in contemporary art, with specializations in performance, queer and feminist histories, commissioning practices, and innovative exhibition models".
Hendrik Folkerts, Curator of International Contemporary Art and Head of Exhibitions, Moderna Museet, Stockholm, Sweden.
