Centre Pompidou-Metz
Created in 2010, the Centre Pompidou-Metz is the first original decentralisation of a national public cultural institution, the Centre Pompidou, carried out in partnership with the Metz Métropole Urban Community.
The Director of the Centre Pompidou-Metz is Chiara Parisi, an art historian, appointed for a five-year term of office starting on 2 December 2019. In accordance with the General Code of Local Authorities, she was appointed by the President of the Board of Directors on the proposal of the Board by a two-thirds majority. It has broad autonomy in cultural and scientific matters.
