About Moscow International Biennale for Young Art
The Moscow International Biennale for Young Art is no longer to be held in summer but in fall 2020. The Biennale is one of the largest and most ambitious projects in the sphere of contemporary art in Russia. The biennial's goals are to bring attention to new names, to support and encourage the creative initiatives of the latest generation of artists and curators, to create the conditions for their public expression and, as a result, to develop the modern art community. Participants in the project are given the chance to make connections and establish creative engagement with the professional artistic community. The biennial provides a space to present the most up-to-date strategies of young artists and curators.
This year the commissioner and the expert council of the Biennale let curators and artists choose the topic of their projects. The only limitation is the age of the participants which cannot surpass 35 years old.
