Passport requirements and visa to enter the US

Travelers of all nationalities must check the entry requirements to the US.

Please check with your closest US embassy or consulate and visit the US Department of State website (https://www.state.gov/) to see which visa you require, and note that processing times vary.

Please make sure you comply with the passport six-month rule: a regulation that states that your passport must be valid for at least six months after the date of your planned departure or arrival from the country (depending on the country). This rule applies to both international and domestic travel. If your passport is not valid for at least six months, you may not be able to board your flight or enter certain countries.
