Welcome to CIMAM to Joel Mu
"As an independent curator, joining CIMAM presents a valuable opportunity to connect with a global network of museum and contemporary art professionals. Access to CIMAM’s resources, discussions, and professional opportunities will support my curatorial practice by fostering collaborations, expanding my knowledge, and keeping me engaged with current trends and critical discourse in the field. Being part of this dynamic network will enhance my professional development and contribute to the growth of my curatorial projects on an international scale."
Joel Mu, Independent Curator, Berlin, Germany.
"As an independent curator working outside institutional frameworks, my practice aligns with the functions of an art museum particularly in fostering research, interpretation, and public engagement with contemporary art. By operating beyond traditional structures, I bring fresh perspectives to curatorial work, exploring alternative models of exhibition-making, knowledge production, and artist collaboration."
