Launched in May 2020 as a direct response to the global pandemic, the CIMAM Rapid Response Webinars were designed to strengthen connectivity within the CIMAM community and offer a space for exchange in moments of uncertainty.

These online sessions provide a peer-to-peer environment where CIMAM members from around the world can share knowledge, experiences, and strategies to address the most urgent issues affecting modern and contemporary art museums today.

The program embodies CIMAM’s mission to be a global platform for dialogue, learning, and cooperation, fostering an inclusive and dynamic network of museum professionals.

Over the years, the Rapid Response Webinars have become a permanent forum for reflection, evolving from crisis response into a regular channel for global debate on the ethical, social, and environmental challenges shaping museum practice.

Each session gathers an international panel of experts and participants from across continents, promoting cross-cultural perspectives and solidarity within the sector.

Recordings of all sessions are available to members in the Members Only section of the CIMAM website, ensuring ongoing access to this growing archive of thought leadership and best practices.

The webinars are free for CIMAM members, while non-members may attend for a 10,00€ fee, deductible from their membership within three months.

CIMAM Rapid Response Webinars are made possible with the support from the Getty Foundation through its Connecting Professionals/Sharing Expertise initiative.
