Teiger Foundation’s 2025 Call for Proposals Now Open

Teiger Foundation’s 2025 Call for Proposals is now open, offering an exceptional opportunity for US curators working in contemporary visual art. The grants are available in four categories:

• Single Project
• Three Years of Programming
• Hosting
• Curatorial Research & Development

Key Dates:

• October 22, 2024: Application portal opens
• January 28, 2025, at 5:00 pm ET: Application deadline
• June 2025: Applicants notified of their status

Online Information Sessions:

Teiger Foundation staff will host two sessions to explain the application process and answer any questions. Both sessions will cover the same material:

• December 5, 2024, at 3:00 pm ET
• January 9, 2025, at 3:00 pm ET

Teiger Foundation encourages attendees to review the grant guidelines and submit any questions to info@teigerfoundation.org at least one day prior to the session.

Application Overview:

All proposals must include:

1. A short reflection by the curator(s), contextualizing the proposed project, with up to five links and 100-word captions. (Hosting applicants must reflect on a past project.)
2. A description of the proposed project(s) emphasizing curatorial approaches, accompanied by 10 images with captions.
3. A detailed project budget (sample templates available).
4. Your organization's operating budget for the past and current fiscal years.
5. Proof of 501(c)(3) status.

Projects must open to the public between September 1, 2025, and August 31, 2027.
