CIMAM postpones the Annual Conference and provides an online program called Rapid Response Webinars starting 28 May 2020
The global crisis caused by COVID-19 has had a significant impact on our lives and institutions. Given that the new social conditions and travel restrictions caused by the pandemic are likely to continue for some time, CIMAM has decided to postpone this year's Annual Conference.
The new dates will be 5 – 7 November 2021 hosted by the Muzeum Sztuki in Lodz and NOMUS New Art Museum in Gdansk, Poland, as initially planned.
Due to the current unprecedented circumstances that bring uncertainty to the museum sector, CIMAM plays an essential role in representing and supporting the international community of modern and contemporary art museums in facing difficult times ahead.

Rapid Response Webinars
The CIMAM board has designed a program of Rapid Response Webinars that will allow CIMAM members to continue discussing the most urgent concerns and questions affecting the modern and contemporary art museum community at this time. This initiative responds to CIMAM’s spirit and commitment to be a platform for global discussion, a space for sharing and connecting, for learning and encouraging cooperation.
Rapid Response Webinars will be held every last Thursday of the month moderated by board members at different time zones and guests. They aim to provide short capsules on urgent concerns for the profession throughout the year. Sessions will be accessible to CIMAM Members and recorded for those who missed the time.
