"Our Space to Help" is supported by Berlin art institutions
Berlin art institutions are calling for a joint fundraising campaign at the Neue Nationalgalerie – for people fleeing Ukraine and arriving in our city.
The alliance is collecting monetary donations, power banks and mobile hotspots and is cooperating with Be an Angel e.V., who are committed to the sustainable integration of people with a refugee history.
The glass pavilion of the Neue Nationalgalerie will be a place of encounter, a vigil and a donation point from Saturday 5 March 22, 10 am to Sunday 6 March 22, midnight; there will be an open mic with numerous contributions from artists, actors and musicians.
“Our Space to Help” is supported by a network of art institutions and their representatives in Berlin: Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art, Gabriele Horn; Gallery Weekend Berlin, Maike Cruse; Akademie der Künste, Johannes Odenthal; Berlinische Galerie, Thomas Köhler; Brücke Museum, Lisa Marei Schmidt; C/O Berlin, Stefan Erfurt; Gemäldegalerie, Dagmar Hirschfelder; Ifa Gallery, Inka Gressel, Susanne Weiß, Alya Sebti; Kolbe Museum, Julia Wallner; Kunstbibliothek, Moritz Wullen; Kunsthaus Dahlem, Dorothea Schöne; Kupferstichkabinett, Dagmar Korbacher; KW Institute for Contemporary Art Berlin, Krist Gruijthuijsen; Gropius Bau, Stephanie Rosenthal; n. b.k., Marius Babias; Palais Populaire, Svenja von Reichenbach, Sara Bernshausen; Schinkel Pavillon, Nina Pohl; Stiftung St. Matthäus, Hannes Langbein, Universität der Künste Berlin, Nobert Palz as well as Alte Nationalgalerie, Ralph Gleis; Neue Nationalgalerie, Klaus Biesenbach, Joachim Jäger; Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart – Berlin, Till Fellrath, Sam Bardaouil, Gabriele Knapstein; Freunde der Nationalgalerie, André Odier, Katharina von Chlebowski
