Omar Idtnaine

"I greatly appreciate the ongoing exchange of ideas among CIMAM members on topics relevant to the work of contemporary art museums, which resonates with my daily professional experience. Joining CIMAM is a natural choice for me because it provides a space for dialogue and exchange, as well as a network of actors in the museum ecosystem, especially for those working in contemporary art. I was particularly motivated by CIMAM's facilitation of reflection on pressing issues such as decolonization in museums, development, sustainability, climate change, and the role museums play in addressing these issues".

Omar Idtnaine, Curator, Agadir Museum of Art, Agadir, Morocco.

"Being a member of CIMAM will allow me to engage with colleagues worldwide on these topics and on future collaborations between my museum and others. It will also enable me to forge cooperative relationships, exchanges, and friendships among museum professionals. Personal development is also a motivating factor for me, as I believe that through CIMAM and its member opportunities, I can contribute to the evolution of Moroccan art museums and enhance the artistic creation of my country".
