Accelerator, Stockholm nomination to CIMAM Outstanding Museum Practice in Time of Global Crisis program, by the Moderna Museet.
The small kunsthalle Accelerator in Stockholm were very quick in going online with their exhibitions in a very beautiful interactive way. The audience could follow one of their hosts around the exhibition, ask questions directly to her and also ask to come closer to specific works, look at details and share their thoughts with the other participants of the tour. The whole experince got as close to a real encounter with the art works as possible. An online art experience cannot get any more intimate than this, according to me. With small means the turned the situation into a great art discovery. They reached a broad audience, both in Sweden and abroad. I would like to nominate them for their courage and the success that followed.
