About Travel Grant Program
Launched in 2005, CIMAM’s Travel Grant Program is designed to foster cooperation and cultural exchange between contemporary art curators and museums directors in emerging and developing economies and their counterparts in other regions of the world.

CIMAM 2024 Call for Travel Grant Applications
CIMAM – the International Committee for Museums and Collections of Modern Art – is delighted to offer around 30 travel grants to support the attendance of modern and contemporary art curators, directors, and museum professionals at CIMAM’s 2024 Annual Conference, in Los Angeles from 6 to 8 December 2024.

2023-25 Travel Grants Committee
The 2023-25 Travel Grant Program consists of CIMAM Board members: Agustin Perez Rubio (Chair), Clara M. Kim, Kitty Scott, Joselina Cruz, Amanda de la Garza, and Kamini Sawhney.

CIMAM Precedent Grantees
Since 2005 over 300 young curators and museum directors from emerging economies have been awarded support to attend CIMAM’s Annual Conference. Over the years CIMAM’s travel grantees have constituted a remarkable group of professionals who have later become important protagonists in today’s modern and contemporary art museums and collections.
