The tour hosts invite you join them for an intensive introduction to the dynamic art scene of Oslo. The program includes organized meetings with selected critical independent project spaces, visual artists and curators, as well as major museum institutions and private collections.

Distinctive to the Oslo capital region is the energetic activity on the independent art scene, largely run by artists or independent curators that co-exists with established museums and galleries. While the region is awaiting new museum buildings for the National Museum and the Munch Museum to open in 2020, new initiatives continues to pop up in various apartments, factories and vacant storefronts or as temporary performance program in and around Oslo. The Oslo presentation also include private museums such as the Henie Onstad Kunstsenter and the Astrup Fearnley Museum.
