Mudam Luxembourg is hiring an assistant curator

Mudam Luxembourg – The Musée d’Art Moderne Grand-Duc Jean is Luxembourg’s flagship contemporary art museum. Its mission is to collect and present the most relevant art of our time and make it accessible to the widest possible audience through its collection, exhibitions, programming and partnerships.

The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of Mudam's exhibitions and arts programmes and contributing to the museum's goals in terms of access, visibility and sustainability.

Type of contract: permanent, full-time

Start date: immediately

Skills and requirements:

MA in Curatorial Studies or Art History (with a specialism in Contemporary Art).
Experience working in museums or art institutions.

Excellent research, writing and communication skills.

Developed organisational skills and thoroughness.

Very good spoken and written French and English (a good command of German will be considered an asset).

Proficiency in another language will be considered an advantage, as will knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator and SketchUp.
